In direct steaming chambers, steam from an external source- steam boiler, is introduced by a perforated stainless steel tubing (steam distributor) directly into the steaming chamber. The steam distributor can be installed above ground or submerged in a water channel. The steam from the boiler condenses and is irretrievably lost during the steaming process. The steaming process in this model of steaming chamber is simple, but with a higher consumption of water and energy for steaming than in indirect steaming chambers.
The steaming process is conducted automatically, and the steaming regimes are based on the requirements of users, experience and cooperation with the profession.
