08 Jun Wood-Technology Conference 2018, Opatija, Croatia
The jubilee 15th Wood Technology Conference was held in the period 04. – 05. 06. 2018. in Opatija, Croatia. Wood processing is quite developed in Croatia, so this large annual gathering of the wood processing industry in Croatia and the SEE region was organized by the Croatian Wood Cluster, Croatian Forests and CROBIOM, the Croatian Biomass Association. The conference is held every year and gathers a large number of participants. During the two days, over 350 representatives of companies participated in the conference, and the structure is dominated by leading wood processors, furniture manufacturers, manufacturers of windows, doors, pellets, cogeneration, parquet, as well as small and large sawmills, and attended by competent institutions from Croatia. This year, the company “NIGOS – elektronik” participated in the conference for the third time as a sponsor.
At the conference, we presented the production program of wood drying kilns, automatic controllers for drying kilns, timber and sawdust moisture meters and Heat treatment equipment. We were the only exhibitors from Serbia at the conference. During the two days, our stand was visited by many companies that are interested in buying dryers and wood steamers. Talks were held with existing customers of our products, and new jobs for dryers on the territory of Croatia were agreed.
