3. Conference “WOOD INDUSTRY AND FORESTRY OF SERBIA” was held on 12 – 13.04.2018. years in Nis. The conference is held every year and gathers a large number of participants. This year, it gathered about 150 participants. The wood industry in Serbia is quite developed, but there is no adequate treatment by the state, so the conference itself takes place with the efforts of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade, as the organizer and company that sponsors the conference. The company “Nigos-elektronik” was the golden sponsor of this year’s conference. The help from the Ministry was minimal this year as well, and due to the impediment, the representatives of the state and the ministry were absent from the conference. After Vrnjačka Banja and Belgrade, the conference was held in Niš.
The conference was organized in the form of panel discussions and expert round tables, of which there were more than a dozen this year. At the Conference, we presented wood drying kilns, automatic controllers for drying kilns, timber and sawdust moisture meters and Heat treatment equipment, as well as our standard instruments for regulating humidity and temperature. During the two days, our stand was visited by many companies that are interested in the installation of wood dryers, there were many existing customers of our products, but also those who have not heard of us so far.
